Operational notice

Purpose

This website provides authorised users with category and space planning tools. Personal information must only be processed for a legitimate, authorised business purpose and in accordance with the Protection of Personal Information Act, 2013 (POPIA).

Information processed

The sign-in service processes account information such as a user’s name, email address, authentication status and security events. The planning tools may process retail planning information imported by an authorised user.

Local planning files

Space Planner files are read from and written to the local folder selected by the user. Users remain responsible for protecting that folder, controlling access to it and following their organisation’s retention and backup requirements.

User responsibilities

Do not enter unnecessary personal information, share login details or use another person’s account. Report suspected unauthorised access or loss of information to the organisation’s Information Officer or site administrator without delay.

Requests and queries

Privacy questions, access requests, correction requests and objections should be directed to the Information Officer of the organisation that issued the user account.
